Pertamina Enduro VR46 RACER Marco Bezzecchi said his good performance and P5 result at the San Marino GP in Italy was the result of his precise and safe strategy.
This followed Bezzecchi, who was eventually able to return to competing as one of the five fastest riders during the race, where he achieved P3 in qualifying, and P5 in the main race.
“In these conditions, anything can happen, I prefer not to take risks in a crucial phase, but to bring home a solid result,” Bezzecchi was quoted as saying by BetweenMonday (9/9).
Starting from the front row, Bezzecchi was in sixth position entering the first corner.
Having been in ninth place after the first lap, the Italian rider was able to keep up with the strong competition in the most difficult phase of the race, and he recovered to finish in last place.
With the points he earned in San Marino, he is in 11th position in the standings with 93 points.
