Marchessault finds it “unfair” for Drouin

Jonathan Marchessault came to the defense of his compatriot Jonathan Drouin, Monday evening, during the program “L’après-match LNH” on TVA Sports.

According to him, it is undeniable that the fans of the Montreal Canadiens are far too hard on the place of number 92.

«Ben yes, he launched without hesitation. He is extremely talented. Last year, he still missed a lot of games, but he still had 20 points in 34 games, that’s 50 points in a season. It’s a very good season.

“He has a lot of talent, he is able to change games on his own. I don’t understand why he would have as many opportunities as he had because he can deliver the job. But people are always looking for a scapegoat. It is unfair.”

The Vegas Golden Knights forward also believes that we have to take it and leave it with the performances of the veterans during a preparatory calendar.

“I don’t know how he was in the preparatory matches, but I can tell you that in my preparatory matches, I was very bad.”
