Several trucks, cars, and a bus were involved in a mass accident on Moscow highway, resulting in people sustaining injuries. The cause of the accident was reported to be the driver of the truck, who was presumed to be drunk by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The driver was later identified as a native of Uzbekistan and was taken to the police department for further investigation. It was also discovered that the truck involved in the accident had been previously involved in another accident in November of the previous year.
An eyewitness shared a video of the accident scene which showed damaged vehicles and the truck’s tractor lying in a ditch. Another eyewitness stated that the truck driver pulled the curtains of the cab and started calling following the accident. The K-363 bus, which was moving at a slow pace in traffic, was hit by the truck from behind, causing the back of the bus to suffer the impact.
Six people sustained moderate injuries from the accident, including a teenager and a child. The congestion caused by the accident persisted for hours following the incident, causing a significant traffic jam on the highway. Some motorists advised others to bypass the area using alternative routes.

The truck has Dagestan license plates. As Fontanka managed to find out, the truck had already been involved in an accident not so long ago – in November last year, the truck collided with a standing vehicle.

The fact that the driver might be drunk was also told to Fontanka by an eyewitness who shared his video from the scene of the accident. The footage shows damaged vehicles, including a truck, the tractor of which slid into a ditch.
