Marcelo Longobardi tested positive for Covid-19 and conducted his radio program virtually this Monday since he is isolated at home. The journalist told the air that he was infected and explained that she was the girlfriend of his son who infected him. “It was an attack by my daughter-in-law against her father-in-law”ironized the communicator.
“Here I am, a victim of Covid”the journalist began to say a few minutes into his program Longobardi by CNN (CNNRadio). Then he continued: “[Estoy] broadcasting from home this morning, because i’m isolated”.
True to his trademark humor, Longobardi joked: “[Estoy] stuck in my desk, locked up. They locked the door on me and they won’t let me out since yesterday”. As he described, he has the “classic” symptoms of the coronavirus: “Decay, muscle pain and headache and voice taken”. Although the journalist was animated, he could not help coughing repeatedly and even apologized to his listeners. “I have to apologize for my voice, which at times disappears completely”he lamented.
Despite the general malaise, the journalist carried out his program without any setbacks and even explained how he got Covid. “I am going to make a formal accusation. I have the totally determined person. He is someone from my family, we are going to write it down and exhibit it in public”, he slipped into the air. Without further ado, Longobardi launched: “She is the girlfriend of my son Gastón. It seems to me that she has been responsible for this matter. She was home exactly a week ago and then showed up with covid”. In turn, in a mocking tone, he was encouraged to make a joke about what he has to go through: “So it’s obvious that It was an attack by my daughter-in-law against her father-in-law. At the moment, without success, because I have survived”.
Longobardi said that on a trip to the United States bought a self test that he used last Sunday to confirm his contagion. “My daughter Delfina made it for me.who suddenly started laughing and He told me: ‘Dad, you have two lines’, and I didn’t know if two lines was yes or no. Although he clarified that he will officially swab, he declared: “Obviously with the two lines, plus all the symptoms that I have accumulated, I have more Covid than the devil”. Finally, she said that she has applied three vaccines from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer: “So I hope to survive.”
