Marc Anthony canceled his concert in Venezuela

Singer Marc Anthony announced on Wednesday, July 31, that he has cancelled his concert in Venezuela, scheduled for August 27 at the Estadio Monumental Simón Bolívar in Caracas, due to the situation the country is experiencing following the presidential elections.

“My dear people of Venezuela. I had been counting the days for our long-awaited reunion after so many years without seeing you. But, due to the current painful situation that your country is going through right now, my conscience leads me to cancel my concert on August 27th,” he wrote on his X account.

In his post, the artist expressed his desire to meet again soon with his Venezuelan public and conveyed his wishes for peace for the country.

So far, Invershow, the event’s production company, has not made any announcements about how the ticket refund process will work.

Marc Anthony concert in Caracas

On Monday, June 3, the American singer Marc Anthony announced that he would be giving a concert at the Simon Bolivar Monumental Stadium in Caracas on August 27.

The artist’s performance was part of his Historia Tour 2024, according to information published on his social media.

The production company Invershow posted the ticket prices for the concert on its social media, which ranged from $67 to $771.
