The second marathon race was launched in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in commemoration of the fortieth anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila massacre, in front of the martyrs’ resting place, taking the Sports City-Vegetable Market road, passing through the Sabra area and then returning to the grave of the martyrs, under the auspices of the Embassy of the State of Palestine and the municipality of Ghobeiry and with the participation of the “Friends of Palestine” association. In Germany and sports clubs in Beirut, entitled “We Run for the Right of Return and Resolution 194”.

At the end of the marathon, the runner Khader Ahmed Al-Khidr won the first place, and the second place went to the runner Muhammad Qasir, and he won two gold cups, presented by the Palestinian National Liberation Movement Fatah in Beirut.
All participants in the marathon received medals presented by the Friends of Palestine Association in Germany.
