“MAPFRE Launches ¡Poténciate! Plan to Promote Mental Health and Well-being for Employees in Spain within a Healthy Business Model”

The ¡Potenciate plan! is a project developed by MAPFRE, aimed at its employees in Spain, whose main objective is to take care of the mental health of each of them. Since a favorable working environment and good health guarantee a favorable working environment.

After the Covid19 pandemic, concern for mental health and the problems it brings with it have increased considerably. For this reason, MAPFRE launches the ¡Poténciate! plan, with the purpose of developing the sphere of mental well-being of its employees, within the framework of a healthy business model, that connects the social, the personal, the family and the work.

To achieve the effectiveness of the project and enhance the health of employees, this program carries out two lines of action. On the one hand, make visible and value the tools that MAPFRE already has available to its employees to promote their mental well-being, so that they know them better and can resort to them if they need it. Among these, the insurer has its own services specialized in psychological assistance, in which support is offered to the employee, psychological assessment, personalized attention and follow-up, or the employee assistance program (PAE), with 24/7 attention provided to through external professionals.

The second line of action will involve offer high-quality resources and content that allow employees to take control of their mental well-being. Thus, during 2023-2024 various actions will be carried out to give continuity to the plan, such as Potéciate events, preparation of informative materials or guides with inspiring best practices. Power up! was introduced to company employees, Thursday April 20, by Rocio Aragonese, Director of Human Resources at MAPFRE IBERIA, at the MAPFRE headquarters in Majadahonda.
