Armed Maoists staged a demonstration in Kannur’s Ayyankunnu Valathode town. A 5-member group, including a woman, reached Wallath as a demonstration at 5:30 in the evening. The group, which put up posters once morest the government in the name of Maoist Kabani Dalam, returned following buying goods. The Maoists spent half an hour in the town and shook hands with the locals. It is indicated that the group that reached Edapuzha on 16th of last month is the same.
