(PLO)- Many panicked people ran from inside the burning building, black smoke covered their bodies and clothes.

At more than 19 o’clock on February 8, functional forces of Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City were investigating the fire of an office building at 40a-40b, Ut Tich street, ward 4, Tan Binh district.

Around 6:30 p.m. on the same day, the fire started on the 3rd floor of a 6-storey building with many people working inside. At this time, people shouted to use fire extinguishers to put out the fire but to no avail. The fire quickly flared up.

Seeing the big fire, the staff rushed out of the building, many people had black smoke on their faces and clothes.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Protection Team and the Tan Binh District Police Department went to the scene to rescue and extinguish the fire. By 19:00 on the same day, the fire was extinguished. According to a source, the initial cause was determined to be an electrical short.

The fire did not cause any loss of life, but many properties on the 3rd floor of this office building were destroyed.
