Future Proof means that you can go with it one way or another Many Eyes can be counted on as a metalcore force – the enthusiasm for the second of the two is growing Every Time I Die-Follow-up projects are currently still limited.

Whether Keith Buckley or the two of them Kingdom of Sorrow-Brothers Charlie (guitar) and Nick Bellmore (drums). Future Proof a new look at the still unnamed album produced by Jamey Jasta Many Eyes-Debut album, or the three previous singles should each stand on their own, remains open for the time being – but it doesn’t really matter for the time being, because the material works harmoniously in one way and the other.

Without a break with previous releases Many Eyes to force, although presumably even better in a higher context, the trio now shifts its stylistic weight towards the swirling, stomping Revelationwhich counteracted its southern rock attitude with an emphatically catchy, almost pop-like chorus (and in this respect alone seems to be exemplary of the band’s songwriting, because Buckley is in Many Eyes texts less cleverly than in Every Time I Diewhile the musical structures are generally simpler and easier to access than with his ex-band, who is so obviously the inspiration for the sound of this new playground) and Mystic Cord (which galloped snotty onto the psychedelic space highway) continuing homogeneously to: Future Proof is much more melodic than the first two singles, draws its inspiration from 90s alternative rock, and is relatively soft Chevelle and post-hardcore motifs – and that represents Buckley’s vocal color and understanding of harmony (somewhere close to Moor or Thing With Feathers) without any approach.

But the result once more seems to be served too smoothly on a silver platter, too barrier-free, geared more towards momentum than sustainability, and its segments are repeated too liberally. In terms of personal favor, it remains a head-to-head race between Many Eyes and Better Lovers.
