Miami. At least 500 migrants have arrived in the Florida Keys in small boats in the past few days, in what the local police department on Monday (local time) described as a “crisis”. Over the weekend, 300 migrants arrived in the sparsely populated Dry Tortugas National Park. The park was closed to allow law enforcement and medical personnel to investigate the group, according to the US agency AP reported. (jW)
