San Luis Potosí has the necessary permits and is regarding to complete the construction and equipment of the space for the start of operations of the “Mixing Plant”.
The price of anticancer drugs that are produced there will be much lower than those of other laboratories.
It will be in April when the development of drugs for the treatment of cancer begins in the entity, “for the first stage of the complex, a state investment of around 40 million pesos is estimated.”
The governor, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, announced the above, while pointing out that the most complex stages to carry out the project are authorization and obtaining permits, “which are fully completed.”
With this, he reiterated, the start of operations of the Mixing Center will be possible from the first week of April, since the construction and equipping of the space is regarding to be completed.
The difference in precision will be abysmal, “there are anticancer drugs that cost up to 80 thousand pesos, while a vial that is made in the Mixing Center will cost five thousand pesos.”
The governor questioned: “I do not understand what happened before, there were never medicines and the past government always said that there was no money to buy them.”
Finally, Gallardo Cardona revealed that it will be in the next few days, at the latest the following week, when this health program will be presented, “with which there will be sufficient supply in San Luis Potosí of medicines for cancer treatment.”
