The famous merengue artist Manny Manuel once again had problems at a musical event in front of the public, which caused his presentation at the Fricasé Festival to be cancelled.
According to the mayor of Naranjito, Orlando Ortiz Chevres, the decision to suspend the closure of the event that was held today in his municipality occurred when he realized that the nicknamed King of Hearts was not qualified to appear on stage, since he presented conduct associated with consumption of alcoholic beverages.
It was the municipal president who took the stage to announce that the artist, who was supposed to close the event, was not in a position to offer the show.
“We know that we have a responsibility to the people and I assume full responsibility for the good things and the bad things. But I will never allow unfit people to be on this stage and in a position to give the people a good show. I’m not going to allow that,” the official told the citizens who were waiting for the artist’s arrival, according to a video that was released on the social network Twitter.
