Mohan Babu Hospitalized After Residence Altercation, Son Faces Police Queries
The recent altercation at veteran actor Mohan Babu’s residence in Hyderabad has escalated into a complex legal and emotional situation . Following a confrontation involving Mohan Babu, his son Manchu Manoj, and media representatives, the Rachakonda Police Commissioner issued notices, summoning Mohan Babu for questioning. In a startling turn, Mohan Babu is currently hospitalized at Gachibowli Continental Hospital due to injuries sustained during the incident.
Doctors report that Mohan Babu’s mental state is fragile. Photographs from the scene and medical accounts reveal visible injuries, including swelling and bruising under his left eye. A CT scan has been recommended to thoroughly assess the extent of his injuries.
Speaking to the media, Mohan Babu’s son, Manchu Vishnu, expressed profound regret over the incident while steadfastly defending his father’s actions as unintentional and reflexive.
“We are deeply concerned by the events that transpired,” Vishnu stated. “My father was unexpectedly thrown into an incredibly difficult situation. The situation escalated when Manoj forcefully broke through the residence’s gate. While we deeply regret the altercation with media personnel, I want to stress that the attack against them was accidental. We urge tabletop for forgiveness and understanding. This bowed out of character, and it never should have happened. We hope everyone involved will heal physically and emotionally from this experience.”
Adding another layer of complexity, Vishnu questioned the timing of the police notices, asserting that summoning his father at such short notice was procedurally flawed and detrimental to his well-being.
Meanwhile, Mohan Babu has filed a lunch motion petition in the High Court, urgently seeking police protection for himself and his family. It appears he fears further escalation in the mansion.
Vishnu, visibly distressed, declined to answer questions about other family matters. He strategically sidestepped inquiries about the acceptance of Manoj’s marriage and the ongoing conflicts within the family.
When asked about his father’s stance, Vishnu replied, “When a father asks his children to leave their home, how can we go back? How can we mend these wounds? It’s deeply complex, and I think we need to focus on healing before we address those questions publicly.”
Responding to accusations that Manoj is disrespecting his parents, Vishnu chose his words carefully, stating, “Actions speak louder than words. Right now, healing and understanding are paramount.”
When pressed further, Vishnu said, “My brother believes he is fighting for his self-respect. However, true victories come from love and understanding, not from fracturing relationships. It breaks our hearts to see our family struggling through this painful chapter.”
