Manchester United’s first game of the 2023/24 campaign may only be two months away, but you can already start marking your calendar with several key dates for the season ahead.

Ahead of the opening weekend of the new Premier League season, August 12-13, the schedule will be released later in the week as the coming months continue to take shape for Erik ten’s side. Hag.

TRANSFER WINDOWS

The Reds will be able to sign players from other domestic clubs following the summer transfer window opens on Wednesday June 14, while players from foreign teams will be able to be signed from July 1. The window will end on September 1 at 11 p.m. BST.

The winter transfer window will open between January 1 and February 1, with a deadline of 11pm (UK time) also on the latter date.

PREMIER LEAGUE KEY DATES

As previously reported, the 2023/24 Premier League schedule will be released at 09:00 BST on Thursday (June 15). You’ll be able to find out everything you need to know regarding Reds fixtures as soon as they’re published on ManUtd.com and in the United app.

The campaign will start on the weekend of August 12/13 and the last day of the season will take place on Sunday May 19, 2024. Although there is no international mid-season tournament to be scheduled this year, there has a short winter break, with no competition matches to be played between 13 and 20 January 2024.

PRE-SEASON AND TOUR 2023

Before the start of the new Premier League season, United will be treated to an action-packed pre-season.

It has yet to be confirmed when Erik ten Hag’s side will return to Carrington for the start of their preparations, but we do know that our first match will be in exactly one month, on Wednesday July 12, once morest Leeds. United in the Norwegian capital of Oslo.

CUP FINALS

Next season’s Champions League final is one of many confirmed dates for the upcoming campaign, as it will be played on Saturday June 1, 2024 at Wembley Stadium.

If United are to defend the Carabao Cup, the Reds will need to win the final at the National Stadium on Sunday February 25, 2024, while the date of a possible return to the Emirates FA Cup final has yet to be confirmed.

If the Reds finish third in their Champions League group, they will move into the Europa League for the second half of the campaign. The final of this competition will be played at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Wednesday 22 May 2024.

INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS

As the club campaign looks busy, our players are also expected to defend their country’s colors on some of the biggest stages in international football.

The Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11, 2024, and Amad and Eric Bailly are in the running to represent the host country on home soil. United’s young midfielder Hannibal might also play for Tunisia, who also qualified.
