Manchester United is still breathing. At Old Trafford, the Mancunians won the England derby to erase a disastrous start to the season.
Beaten by Brighton and Brendford in the first two days, Manchester United won 2-1 ahead of Liverpool, who have still not won this season and who conceded their first defeat in the league in 2022. Without captain Harry Maguire relegated on the bench and without Cristiano Ronlado until the 86th minute, the Red Devils signed a success that does not suffer any discussion.
Aggressive as ever, they scored by Jadon Sancho in the 16th and by Marcus Rashford in the 53rd. Liverpool only reduced the score in the 82nd through Mo Salah. Without much venom, the Reds did not deserve much better during this evening which was that of great forgiveness for Manchester United.
