Manchester United had a tough time but managed to qualify for the final of the FA Cup. With goals from Scott McTominay, Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes they won 3-0, but Coventry City tied it with Ellis Simms, Callum O’Hare and Haji Wright, but André Onana appeared to give the Red Devils the classification on penalties. In the final they will face Manchester City, who yesterday with Julián Alvarez as starter beat Chelsea 1-0 in the first semi-final with a goal from the Portuguese Bernardo Silva. Alejandro Garnacho was the starter.
It seemed that Manchester United was going to easily get into the definition: Scott McTomina opened the scoring 23 minutes into the first half and before the break Harry Maguire increased the difference with a header.
At 13 minutes into the second half, Bruno Fernandes made it 3-0 and everything seemed settled. A while later, Erik ten Hag decided to take out Alejandro Garnacho and the Argentine striker, who had some disagreements with the coach, was more than surprised.

How Manchester United and Coventry City arrive at the FA Cup duel
The Red Devils have just eliminated Liverpool 4-3 in the previous phase of this tournament. In the Premier League they are going through a difficult time, given that they have not won in four games, three draws and two losses, and they have practically no mathematical chances of fighting for a place in next season’s Champions League, located in seventh position with 50 points.
For its part, Coventry has just caused a surprise in the quarterfinals by eliminating a Premier League team, the Wolves. In the Championship (2nd category), they have just fallen in their last two appearances and are in eighth position with 63 points.
