Manchester United has formalized the arrival from Ajax Amsterdam of Brazilian winger Antony (22). This one is committed until 2027, plus an optional year.
A deal between the two clubs was announced on Wednesday, with the Dutch club revealing the transfer was worth €100m including bonuses, making him the most expensive Eredivisie player in history. The Brazilian international (9 caps), scored 31 goals and provided 27 assists in 134 matches for Ajax and Sao Paulo.
He will find coach Erik ten Hag who had led him in the Netherlands at Old Trafford, as well as his ex-teammate, Argentine defender Lisandro Martinez, who also arrived in Manchester this summer.
