Manchester United have stopped selling young striker Mason Greenwood’s shirts online, due to the recent news.
The 20-year-old was suspended by United last Sunday, following posting photos and recordings of the alleged crimes on social media.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the arrest of a man in his twenties on suspicion of rape and assault.

The administration decided to remove the English player’s shirt from the club’s store, following these allegations, and the widespread anger over these accusations.
Customers can’t currently select the 20-year-old’s name as an option on any products, and they can’t be seen in the players list anymore.
A search for its name on the page returns “Your search for Greenwood did not match any products”.

“We have suspended our relationship with Mason Greenwood,” a Nike spokesperson told Archyde.com.
“We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations and will continue to monitor the situation closely,” he added.
For his part, Manchester United said: “We have become aware of the images and allegations circulating on social media, and we will not make any further comment until the facts are confirmed.”
