Manchester United announced, on Friday, the signing of Dutch striker Wouter Figurst, from Burnley, on loan, until the end of the current season.

“Manchester United has reached an agreement with Burnley for the loan of the 30-year-old striker, until June 2023,” United said in a statement.

Figurst was playing for the Turkish club Besiktas this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists in 18 games.

The Dutch striker has participated in 414 matches with the clubs he has played in so far, in the Netherlands, Germany, England and Turkey, during which he scored 172 goals. He played 19 international matches with the “Mills” national team, scoring 5 goals, including Two goals in the World CupQatar 2022.

Figurst expressed his happiness at moving to the “Red Devils”, and said: “I feel proud to join Manchester United. I played against the club in the past, and it is great to have the opportunity to wear this shirt.”
