United icon Gary Neville, current pundit on Sky Sports, is blunt in his criticism of the team’s performance.
– It is a disgusting effort. I think there were Sunday League teams (amateur level in England) who played better today than United did. They play pub football, says Neville.

The United coach himself says that the team effort – especially in the first half – is indefensible.
