The words of the coaches
Pep Guardiola, Manchester City
This will be the third semi-final in our history. Atlético de Madrid were excellent in the second half [du quart de finale retour] but we are in the semi-finals and for our club, it is a great achievement. If we play like we did in this second half, we won’t have a chance. [face au Real Madrid]. If we play like in the first leg or the first half, then we can fight. And we will have to live through periods of suffering.
Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid
[Eduardo Camavinga] can play from the kick-off but it is clear that as soon as he comes on he gives the team extra energy. When the intensity drops, if you have fresh players like Camavinga, Rodrygo and Valverde you can change the game with the energy they bring.
