England – The Manchester City team ignited the struggle for the English Premier League title, beating its host Crystal Palace by four goals to two, yesterday, Saturday, at Selhurst Park, in the opening of the 32nd round of the competition.
The first half ended in a 1-1 draw, as Frenchman John Mateta opened the scoring for Crystal early in the third minute of the match, and Belgian Kevin De Bruyne equalized for City in the 13th minute.
In the second half, Rico Luis scored City’s second goal in the 47th minute, and Norwegian Erling Haaland increased the score with Man City’s third goal in the 66th minute.
De Bruyne added the fourth goal in the 70th minute, and Frenchman Odsonne Edouard reduced the score with the second goal for the hosts in the 87th minute.
Manchester City raised its score to 70 points, rising to second place, equal to leaders Liverpool, who will visit Manchester United on Sunday, and two points ahead of Arsenal, third, who will also face Brighton later.
On the other hand, Crystal Palace stopped at 30 points after it continued to lose points for the fifth match in a row, by suffering 3 losses and achieving two draws, to occupy the fourteenth place in the ranking table.
