Manchester City (Man City) defeated Liverpool FC and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup (League Cup) in England.
Man City advanced to the quarterfinals by winning 3-2 against Liverpool in the round of 16 of the 2022-2023 Carabao Cup held at Ittihad Stadium in Manchester, England on the 23rd (Korean time).
Manchester City used a 4-3-3 formation. Palmer-Holland-Marez led the forward attack, and Kevin De Bruyne-Rodri-Gundogan protected the midfield. Ake-Laporte-Akanji-Rico Ruiz guarded the rear. The goalkeeper was Ortega.
