Tips when overdoing sweets
1- Avoid sugar
When the body’s energy decreases due to sugars, the person feels a strong desire to eat more of them, to provide the body with vitality and activity, but if he does so, lethargy will remain in control of him.
Therefore, nutrition experts advise to avoid sugars completely, and replace them with a snack that includes food rich in proteins, such as peanut butter, and another that contains fiber, such as apples.
2- Moisturizing the body
If you overdo it on sweets, be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day, to stimulate the kidneys to expel excess sugar through urine.
In addition, you should take care of eating watermelon, cucumber and melon, because these foods are rich in water, and also provide the body with nutrients that protect it from dehydration and maintain its fluid balance, such as potassium.
2- Walking
Walking plays a major role in maintaining the balance of blood sugar levels and reducing insulin, in addition to its ability to burn some calories that the body has gained due to sweets.

4- Eat a balanced breakfast the next day
It is necessary that the breakfast meal – the day following the night in which you ate a lot of sweets – contain eggs, vegetables and nuts, to supply the body with protein, fiber and healthy fats, and then control blood sugar and reduce appetite, with the need to drink a glass of water.
5- Eat slowly
It is necessary to eat slowly and chew well, in order to feel full quickly, by sending the stomach a signal to the brain informing it that it is full, so it produces leptin, which is the hormone responsible for feeling full.
