Tibère Adler will leave the management of the daily Le Temps at the end of October. This lawyer and entrepreneur, who notably co-founded the Heidi.news media, had been managing director of Le Temps since 2021.
“Tibère Adler has informed the board of directors of his desire to leave his operational duties at the head of the company,” Le Temps said in a press release on Thursday. He wants to return to “more entrepreneurial professional activities”, specifies the company.
He will step down at the end of October, but will sit on the board until the end of the year “to facilitate a smooth transition”. The process of succession to the management of the company will be launched at the end of August.
A newspaper undergoing restructuring
This departure comes as Le Temps, which is facing significant declines in revenue, is in the midst of restructuring. “The transformation of Time, as a medium and as a business, is an ambitious and necessary project for French-speaking Switzerland; it must continue”, notes Tibère Adler, quoted in the press release.
