Jeddah: A Saudi national has been found trapped in the desert for a week. Rescuers have found a young Saudi man who went missing in the desert following his car crashed, local media reported.

A week ago, Mishal Saleem had planned to visit the family. Following this, the departing man drove the vehicle through an unfamiliar shortcut. However, reports say that the car ran out of petrol during the journey.

He left the car and started walking, but was trapped following getting lost in the desert. Following the report of Mishal Saleem’s disappearance, an extensive search was conducted, including by civil defense, aviation and volunteers.

He was found in a mountainous area near Tabuk in Saudi Arabia following a search. Following this, Michelle was admitted to a hospital. The health condition is reported to be satisfactory.
