It happened on the night of June 23 this year at 2.45 in the morning. Here, a man threw two Molotov cocktails at a car at the Kwix at the end of Østergade in Thisted.
– The man came walking across Østergade, and when he had passed the car he threw the two Molotov cocktails at the car parked at the Kwix. There were two people in the car who both managed to get out of the car without injury, according to the police.
The suspect fled the scene on foot.
Since the surveillance images from the crime scene are not very good, it has instead been possible to find a surveillance video from another location, where the suspect was the evening before the arson.
The Central and West Jutland Police are now publishing this surveillance video in the hope that someone in the public can help the police identify the suspect.
The suspect is described as:
Mand.
35-50 years old.
175-185 cm tall.
Ordinary in build.
Short dark hair.
Highlighted face.
Tattoo around right upper arm.
Ring around the right index finger and wristwatch.
