A man was shot dead Monday morning in Grenoble, we learned from the city prosecutor’s office. The body of the 45-year-old man was found around 6:30 a.m. on the ground.

“The prosecution moved to the scene and seized the judicial police of the investigation,” said the public prosecutor Eric Vaillant, confirming information from the Dauphiné Libéré.
The man might not be resuscitated by emergency services, called by passers-by.
