The Limburg police (LRH) dispatched several teams to the scene. Two players reportedly started arguing and one of them used a gun. A 42-year-old man from Hasselt was seriously injured and taken to hospital. The shooter, a 66-year-old man from Houthalen-Helchteren, was arrested on the spot, the Limburg prosecutor’s office said. The local police, members of the technical and scientific police of the federal police, and a ballistics expert were still expected on site on Saturday.
