Relationship crime and bloody crime on Monday evening in Ticino: a man shot his ex in Stabio following he had already shot down their new partner with pistol shots. Then the suspect judges himself.
A 51-year-old from the northern Italian province of Varese (Lombardy) shot a 45-year-old woman shortly following 6:30 p.m. in Stabio in Ticino on Monday evening, seriously injuring her. The perpetrator then shot himself.
The woman’s injuries are considered life-threatening, as the Ticino canton police and the authorities in Bellinzona announced on Monday evening. The seriously injured also lives in the province of Varese. It is currently being determined whether the bloody deed in Stabio is related to a second Monday followingnoon in the province of Varese.
