Assault in Lisburn Leaves Man with Serious Injuries
A shocking assault in Lisburn city center left a man in his 30s hospitalized with serious injuries to his face and head.The incident occurred on Saturday, December 14th, around 10:25 am in the graham Gardens area.
police responded quickly to reports of a fight involving three men. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim and immediately transported him to the hospital for treatment. Two suspects, aged 31 and 28, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Detective Sergeant Cargin from the Criminal inquiry Department (CID) expressed his dismay, stating, “It’s shocking that this should happen in the city center in broad daylight, when the area would have been busy with families.”

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the assault or may have dashcam, CCTV, or other footage of the incident to come forward and contact them at 101, quoting reference 560 of 14/12/24.
