Dublin: A twist in the murder that happened a year ago in Ireland. Irish police officials have discovered that the elderly man was killed by a rooster. According to the inquest report submitted to the court, the 67-year-old man was killed by a chicken attack.
Jasper Cross was found dead in Ballinasloe, Ireland in April last year. The body was lying in the pool of blood. There was a big wound on his leg. As informed by the finders, the medical team reached the spot and administered first aid to Cross but were unsuccessful. Cross was dead by then.
The initial conclusion of the police was that the death was accidental. But Cross’s daughter, Virginia, had her doubts. They suspected that a chicken was behind the murder. Virginia’s suspicions were heightened by the fact that there were blood stains from where Cross’s body lay to the adjacent chicken coop.
The possibility was also raised by O’Keefe telling judicial investigators that O’Keefe, a neighbor who heard Cross screaming at the time of his death, said ‘rooster’ as he died.
The suspect in the incident is a rooster belonging to the category of Brahma chicken, which was raised by a cross.
A rooster attacked Cross who was sleeping. He bled to death due to leg injury.
