Man kicked 14-year-old in face during argument on ski slope

His 18-year-old sister was also beaten and briefly unconscious during an attempt to mediate, police said. The two men involved fled. The argument arose because of an evasive maneuver.

The brother of the two injured people, a 19-year-old, had previously had to avoid a man and a child standing on the slopes while descending. There was no collision, but there was still an argument between two men and the three siblings. They were traveling with their parents (50 and 48 years old), it said in a broadcast. The 18-year-old was taken to Kufstein Hospital by ambulance, while her brother went there on his own.

Police are asking for information

The police are now asking for information to the Wörgl police station (Tel. 059133/7221). Both men spoke German. At least one of the two had been traveling with a snowboard. Both were estimated to be around 30 years old. One of the two had a brown beard and was wearing a red jacket. The second man wore glasses and a blue jacket.
