Bad accident shortly after 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning in Kreuzberg!
A 20-year-old discovered a man stuck upside down in a drain grate on the sidewalk on Mehringdamm!
According to BZ information, the 63-year-old dropped his keys when he unlocked the front door. These had slipped through the bars in front of the door. When trying to get her out of the shaft, the senior apparently lost his footing, slipped and got stuck upside down.

It is unclear how long he was in this helpless situation. Rescue workers pulled the casualty out of the shaft. He was unresponsive and had no vital signs. However, paramedics managed to revive the man. He was then taken to a hospital and is now in intensive care.
Police officers later found the man’s front door key and cell phone in the lattice shaft.
