Not only in the USA, but almost all over the world, the “Florida Man” (“man from Florida”) is now a widespread meme. Every week, headlines spread across the internet regarding various male Florida residents committing totally insane crimes.

Such was the case with Craig Allen Ripple, who committed a particularly nasty crime. According to the news portal OutKick the “Florida Man” swapped his stepson’s medication for laxatives – the whole thing is said to have been some kind of abstruse prank.

Already in August 2019, his then wife had caught him doing the strange act. Previously, she had installed surveillance cameras to find out what was happening with her son’s medication. After practically catching her husband in the act, it wasn’t long before she filed for a divorce.

Ripple has also been ordered to take part in parenting classes. He is no longer allowed to have any contact with his 14-year-old ex-stepson.

However, the dangerous drug exchange was not the only questionable prank that the American played on his family. According to court documents, Ripple also hid homework, jewelry and clothes just to watch his family search.

Worse still, he dumped liquids in the children’s beds to make it look like they were still wetting the bed at night.

The court documents said: “The investigation concluded that [Ripple] malicious acts with no real purpose, having no “other purpose” than causing emotional distress to the child and his siblings.
