A new drama took place on our roads this Friday morning, as reported by our colleagues from the Nieuwsblad. At around five o’clock in the morning, a motorist crashed, for reasons that have yet to be determined, into the back of a garbage truck in Hasselt. The emergency services arrived very quickly on the scene of the accident to extricate the man from his vehicle, but it was already too late. The shock, extremely violent, left no chance to the victim, who died on the spot.
