Man Critically Injured in Shooting at West Garfield Park – NBC Chicago

CHICAGO – A man was seriously injured in a shooting that occurred Sunday morning in West Garfield Park on Chicago’s west side.

The 40-year-old man was outside around 9:05 a.m. in the 4400 block of West Gladys Avenue when he was shot in the head, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he is in critical condition, police said.

So far, the police have not reported any arrests in connection with this case.
