The police first reported the incident at 2:04 p.m. Both the Nav office and Åsane center were evacuated, and a safety zone of 200 meters was established around the centre. No people were injured.

A bag was also found close to the Nav premises.

– The bomb squad has assessed the contents of the bag as harmless. It will now be removed by the police and taken for technical examinations. We carry out several investigative steps; among other things, we question witnesses, search the accused’s car and residence and obtain video surveillance from the area, Rebnord explains.
