Mumbai Police has arrested a suspect for allegedly threatening to kill Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan.
According to Indian media, the actor was threatened with death. which was received on the landline phone at Bandra Police Station.

The police have arrested a person named Faizan Khan on suspicion of this, whose mobile phone was demanded to pay 50 lakh rupees. The lawyer claimed that his mobile phone was stolen and it was used in the same crime.
The accused will be brought to Mumbai for further questioning.
The threat to Shah Rukh Khan allegedly came after a series of threats to Salman Khan from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
According to police sources, a threat was received on a phone call on November 7. In which it was said that if Shah Rukh Khan does not give me Rs 50 lakh, I will kill him.
When asked to identify himself, the caller replied it doesn’t matter… if you need a name, write it as Indian.
On the other hand, Faizan had lodged a complaint about the theft of his mobile at the police station on November 2 and submitted the relevant documents to the Mumbai police.
According to police sources, the Raipur police contacted the Maharashtra police to trace Faizan’s location, and he was found to be a resident of Pindri area of Raipur, one of the largest textile markets in central India.
Faizan was called to the police station and told that a case had been registered against him. On this Faizan took a stand that his phone was stolen and he had informed the police. Faizan had also submitted the relevant documents at the Mumbai police station.
It may be noted that after the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawaan Aur Pathan in October 2023, the Maharashtra government had increased Shah Rukh’s security based on a written complaint following death threats.
