A man in his 50s who fled following stabbing and killing his uncle with a weapon was caught by the police five hours following the crime.
According to the Cheonan Dongnam Police Station on the 27th, at around 6:37 am on the same day, Mr. A (58) stabbed his uncle, Mr. B in his 70s, with a weapon in a field in Mokcheon-eup, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, and ran away.
Mr. B was taken to the hospital by the 119 ambulance, but died.
Mr. A was arrested by the police within 5 hours of committing the crime near a reservoir in Goesan, North Chungcheong Province. At the time of the arrest, Mr. A was known to be stopped by police officers and fire authorities who were searching the neighborhood while trying to make an extreme choice.
The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for murder following investigating the detailed motive for the crime once morest Mr. A.
