Uniformed members of the Bolivarian National Police captured a subject in the Caroní municipality for trafficking narcotic and psychotropic substances.
The 35-year-old man, alias “El Piolín”, was apprehended in the Inés Romero sector, in San Félix, by officials attached to the Strategic Intelligence Division (DIE).
Authorities seized 100 packages of suspected marijuana, weighing approximately 100 grams, hidden inside a bag.
They also collected a half-kilo scale, 300 bolivars in cash, and a blue Infinix Hot 12 Play cell phone.
The case was made available to the Bolívar State Public Prosecutor’s Office.
