Man arrested for burying his mother and sister in his yard

A man from the state of Illinois in the United States has been arrested for allegedly hiding the deaths of his mother and sister and burying them in the backyard of the house.

Authorities said the man had been cashing his mother’s social security checks for years, long following her death.

He currently faces two charges of failing to report the deaths of the two women. He does not, however, face murder charges since it was not possible to determine the cause of death of either woman.

The brother of the accused man is also under investigation, but no charges are brought once morest him.

This whole story began when the authorities realized that the house was not supplied with running water.

After a wellness visit, they discovered that the mansion was full of bags filled with urine and feces.

The house was so cluttered that the two brothers had to climb in and out of the windows.

According to police reports, the accused man allegedly claimed his mother died in 2015. She hit her head following an argument with her sister and stormed down the steps.

The sister, meanwhile, is believed to have died in 2019 of COVID-19, although the first case in Illinois was not recorded until February 2020.
