Officials from the Investigative, Scientific, Penal and Criminalistics Corps (Cicpc) arrested a man who, under the influence of alcohol, beat his mother, an 80-year-old woman.
The incident occurred on the main street of Mesuca, in Miranda, where police forces appeared after receiving a complaint.
The attacker responds to the name of W. Arraiz Medina, 40 years old. And, while intoxicated, he caused multiple injuries to the victim.
The security agencies apprehended the man in an area very close to where the event occurred.
The woman’s condition is unknown.
The 134th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas took on the judicial process.
