A man identified as Iran Gabriel Nieves Garcia, 39, who worked as a chef, was arrested by Poliguaicaipuro officials at the house where he lived in the El Chorrito sector on the old Caracas-Las Teques highway.
The subject was arrested for allegedly committing sexual abuse once morest his stepdaughter. The newspaper Avance learned that days before the arrest, the victim was crying at her school and a classmate noticed, approached her and asked her what was wrong. She told her that her mother’s partner had abused her. He touched her private parts.
This situation began when she was seven years old and she feared that her 10 and 8 year old siblings would suffer the same fate, so she decided to break her silence, reported Cactus24.
The friend told her mother what the girl was experiencing and the woman did not hesitate to go to the school to alert the authorities. It transpired that the assistant director contacted the victim’s mother and summoned her to the institution.
They also presented the case to the Council for the Protection of Children and Adolescents and the Specialized Unit for Children and Adolescents of Poliguaicaipuro, which made the arrest.
During the presentation hearing, the Fifth Municipal Control Court based in Carrizal ordered the individual’s deprivation of liberty and ordered the El Rodeo II Judicial Internment Center as the place of confinement, but for now he remains under the command of the municipal police.
