US police arrested a man on Friday for making written threats on social media once morest Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his running mate James David Vance, the Jupiter Police Department in Florida said.

“After investigating the allegations and the suspect’s Facebook account, detectives with the Jupiter Police Department.
Michael Wiseman was found to have made multiple threats once morest Trump and Vance”the statement said.
The organization also reported that members of the families of Republican politicians were threatened with harm.
Police were alerted to “multiple” threats made by Wiseman to residents”who expressed their concern in person”.
Wiseman was taken into police custody without incident on Friday following multiple law enforcement agencies investigated the leads.
As well as Wiseman’s Facebook account, according to the press release.
The investigation was conducted by Jupiter Police in coordination with the U.S. Secret Service and the Palm Beach County State’s Attorney’s Office, authorities said.
Written death threats to Trump
Wiseman was charged with written threats to kill or injure and made his initial court appearance Saturday morning, according to Palm Beach County online court records.
His next court date is in 30 days, on August 19.
His attorney Tama Kudman declined to comment on the ongoing case when reached by phone Saturday.
Wiseman is currently being held without bond at the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center.

CNN reached out to the Trump-Vance campaign and the US Secret Service regarding Wiseman’s arrest but did not receive a response by this followingnoon.
