Court Appearance Following Newtownards Murder

In a separate case, a man and woman have been remanded in custody following a court appearance for the murder of 50-year-old Mark Dorrian in Newtownards. Mr Dorrian tragically ⁣passed away ⁢in the hospital after being discovered unconscious ‍with head injuries at a ‌property on West⁣ Street ⁣in Newtownards on St. Stephen’s Day. Carl Kerr, 36, ‍of Corry​ Street, ⁣Newtownards, and Claire Rees,‌ 33, of no fixed abode, were⁢ brought before Downpatrick Magistrates’ Court.Both defendants were handcuffed during the‍ hearing. Both individuals confirmed ‌their personal details ‌and understanding of ⁢the​ charges⁢ levelled‍ against them.
