A man and a teenager were caught while injuring a dog, using a machete and a pipe, in Villa Granada, Puerto Ordaz.
This was announced by the Municipal Police of Caroní (PMC), whose officials arrested the accused following 1:00 pm this Friday.
The dog was taken by officials to the Gran Misión Nevado Veterinary Clinic. The doctors indicated that he presented a clean cut muscle tissue tear and loss of the left eye.
The defendants, aged 20 and 16, were denounced by a witness before the authorities.
They are being held at the PMC headquarters in Puerto Ordaz.
The case was notified to the Fourth and Ninth Prosecutor’s Offices of the Public Ministry.
