A Crown spokesperson confirmed that the man has been charged with two counts of sexually assaulting a woman.
London police arrested him following he pushed the two women from behind, in addition to exposing his private parts.
“Officers were on site to intervene immediately and arrest the man,” said the assistant commissioner of the London police.
The incident took place on Wednesday, in the queue to say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II, near the gardens of the Victoria Tower.
The queue to gather at the Ardent Chapel stretches over several kilometres; wait times exceed 10 hours.
The police wanted to be reassuring regarding the security around the queue.
“There were very few crimes or other incidents where officers had to intervene,” Commissioner Stuart said.
Media reports that more than 10,000 police will be present for the Queen’s funeral on Monday.
