Manuel de Jesús Monzón Godoy was sent to preventive detention after being charged with murder and attempted murder during his first statement hearing.
At the hearing on Friday, August 30, the court ordered that he be sent to the Preventive Facility for Men in Zone 18.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office will have three months to expand the investigation against Monzón Godoy for an armed attack that occurred in a restaurant.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, August 28, a shooting took place inside a restaurant in Zone 10 of the capital. Six people were injured. with a firearm projectile and one more lost his life, reported the Volunteer Firefighters.
On the day of the attack, the director general of the National Civil Police, David Estuardo Custodio Boteo, explained that they captured a man who was traveling in an unregistered taxi, known as a pirate taxi.

The official said that another of the alleged perpetrators was hospitalized at the San Juan de Dios Hospital after being injured in the attack at the restaurant.
